I am a mom, certified teacher, PTO board member, and Cabarrus County schools Parent Advisory Board member. I am a community advocate who believes every child deserves a safe, supportive, and inspiring education that prepares them for college/careers/life beyond High School. Children deserve this and beyond, regardless of their background, history, zip code, or ability. As a certified teacher, I have spent years teaching children and have spent many years as a parent, volunteering in schools, serving on the PTO Board, tutoring, and supporting students across our county. 

One thing is for sure, I am not running to play politics-I am running because I believe in putting kids first. I want to ensure that every student in Cabarrus County has access to high-quality educational experiences, strong academics, and support for the "whole child." 

As a parent with a child in Elementary, Middle, and High school here in Cabarrus County, I experience firsthand the challenges and successes that families face at every stage of education. I have skin in the game. I see what is working and where we can do better-from early literacy to middle school transitions to preparing our teens for college and careers. These experiences shape my perspective, guide my decisions, and keep me focused on what matters most: helping every child reach their full potential.

I believe in working together-parents, teachers, and the community-to make our schools places where students feel seen, safe, supported, and ready to learn. I will always listen, learn, and lead with compassion because our children's future depends on it.
